I am looking at a lightly used .40 cal. SW99. I would like to hear from owners or previous owners.

Pros?
Cons?
What would be considered a good price?

Thanks.

I have one. It has been a solid performer for me. I paid $400 for a lnib example a few years ago.

I used to own one pretty nice , the only odd thing was I could literally feel the frame/grip plastic flex when firing hot loads . Also I found the rear sight to be quite fragile , I broke the rear sight twice when the weapon hit the door frame while entering /exiting my truck .

It is my daily CCW. Great shooters and with adjustable back straps, you get to tailor it to your hand.

I've had a 40c and a full-size 9mm. I really liked the feel of the full-size gun, but I could just never get used to the trigger. I loved some of the features, like the decock button on the slide and how the striker came through the back of the slide to give you a tactile cocking indicator.

I've got the SW99OL compact that I use for daily ccw. It shoots well, and keeps my grip firm, since it will FTE if I limp wrist it.
