Howdy,

I'm helping a family friend with her late husband's collection and we have come across something I'm rather astonished by... can say I've seen anything in like these before

Are these orgional issue what are they and what are they worth?

Any help would be appreciated...

Value desirability?

Thanks
Erik

Erik, those are a very rare find. You guys really have something. I wouldn’t shoot those through your Para, lol.

Someone paid $30 shipped for two loaded Half moonclips.

The case heads should be dated....

BTW, Those half moons are so much better than what is being offered these days. They're actual spring steel and not the soft, bendy stuff like the last batch I got..

Cartridge collectors would drool. As I own two 1917 revolvers, I'd be interested in buying a pack or two just to have.

Check head stamp for date and mfg. As posted by shil they projectiles are FMJ and primers are corrosive. Unopened boxes worth more than opened ones, check gunboard for value? Had several unopened boxes in my WWI collection which my son now has with 1911 and 1917s. Correct belts pouches and holsters, uniforms too.E914079A-F654-472F-AB76-9CD59CCE8EF7.jpg

That's a rare find these days and yes, they have corrosive primers. I would not shoot them, original rounds still in the original packaging is bound to be worth far more than their value as shooting ammo.
