Our "new" cat, Pepper

Had to put down my buddy several months ago, due to health issues. His name was Adolph and he was about 15 yrs. old. Don't have a photo of his face, but he was a handsome fellow. Had a white marking like for a mustache, hence the name Adolph.

We now have Pepper, a female Tortoise Shell, who is about 3 yrs. old. We got her from my Wife's Daughter's boyfriend.

Thanks. I miss him. He was the Wife's other Daughter's cat, but as the Daughter works at Iowa State Univ. in charge of the calving, Adolph stayed with her Mom.


Oh yeah. When she gets her motor running it's loud.

My condolences for Adolph. I love the tortoise shell breed. For reasons I do not comprehend all of our tortoise shell cats have “adopted” me over the years.

It always hurt to lose a buddy like Adolph that has lived with you for so long. But it's great that you decided to accept the fact that Pepper has adopted you to be his slaves.

We had a Pepper ourselves. He lived with us for 16 years before his health got so bad we had to put him down. That was one sad day too.
