Looking for ideas on an OWB concealable holster for my Shield. I would like the holster to conceal under a loose T-shirt. I'm not paranoid about a little printing because we have OC here. I think leather would be more comfortable but not opposed to Kydex.
Below are a few that I was looking at;
- Galco Stinger
- Fobus Paddle (can u conceal with this ?)
- Comptac Paddle

Any suggestions ?

High Noon Holsters, Gun Holsters and Concealment Holsters

I use the Slide Guard for OWB carry and I have six of them for various pistols I carry. For over 36 years I have carried service size pistols for serious business and prefer good leather. Tried them all and now I will only buy High Noon. The Slide Guard is sleek with no excess leather and close to the body. Superb in materials, design, and craftsmanship. Bill

All waking hours (work from home) I carry my 9mm Shield in a Galco Stinger and can vouch it's very comfortable, easy on / off and seems like good quality. For IWB (when going somewhere), I prefer Remora and Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe depending on what I'm doing. Hope that helps a little - good luck!

I haven't found an OWB besides the Askins that I have for my 642 that I really like.

Even my Lobo OWB isn't as nice as carrying IWB for me.

IWB just pulls in so nice and snug against my body, I have no concerns printing.

Sarge, I checked out High Noon and they look really nice! At $155 they are twice the price of a Lobo. Are they worth the extra coin? I'd really like to find someone that has both and can compare...

Big fan of UBG Holsters.

For a concealable OWB in leather, I wouldn't hesitate to order the Regulator. Easy on/easy off. Top notch craftsmanship.

Rocket man...RM Holsters The ECP (extreme cant paddle) is one of the best holsters I have owned!

Super comfortable and the draw angel is awesome. It's even comfortable when I am sitting in my truck, because of the angle. I have worn my Shield every day for over a year. Also bought one for my Glock G27 because I liked the Shield one so much.

About $60 and worth the money. Doesn't print much, even with t shirts. The holster draw angle helps make it comfortable and keeps printing to minimum. Additionally the quick on/off feature makes it easy to take the whole rig off and place it in your safe.

Yes they are. I have been a LEO for 36 years including departmental rangemaster so I get to try out everything on the market. Also from what I have seen on the job I am never without a serious service pistol. And in my basement I have the bag of expensive, big name holsters that simple did not work for one reason or another. I have been using High Noon for going on 15 years now and every item from them has worked well under hard use. I keep trying new brands and models but always resort back to High Noon. Their belts and mag carriers are superb also. You get what you pay for. Give High Noon a try and they will become your holster maker of choice. Bill

I have a simply rugged Cuda for my Shield and it's the most comfortable OWB holster I own. It holds your gun close to the body. This is the third simply rugged holster I own. They are great for the price.
