OWB Holster for 4" Model 29-2?

I may have mentioned this in passing in another thread, but don't recall seeing it mentioned.

Now that it's cold all of the time, I have a coat, and usually a sweater or sweatshirt to cover an OWB holster. I'm interested in a decent OWB holster for my 4" Model 29-2, especially something comfortable and accessible while driving. Any suggestions?

I normally wear a Galco Silhouette for my 4" M21.
Comfortable, rides fairly high, and at 3:00 or a touch forward can be fairly easily drawn from the seat of a car.

Thanks for the information. There's a guy who comes to the local gunshow who has good deals on Galcos, although I don't know if he'd have that specific holster for that specific gun. Have any recommendations for online dealers?

Try a SimplyRugged sourdough or a Mernickle Performance Series. They ride high and have the third belt loop which means you can switch to crossdraw for car carry anytime.

I use Greg Kramer'sOWB in horsehide. I can hide them under a polo shirt, and have 4 of the for different models. Makes a quaility holster.

My 4" 629 rides in a Bianchi 111 Cyclone. I've attatched a strap to it that goes over my head and rests on my left shoulder. That takes some of the weight off the belt and its faily comfortable. I'll have to admit that I've carried it very little, however.

Reloader is dead on with the suggestion of the Kramer holster...I have about a dozen of them in various configurations for a number of my firearms. You will not regret it!

I recently found an Andrews Saddle style for my 22 TR. It holds the butt tight against me, and rides pretty high. I'd been looking at them for a while, and ran across a used one. Excellent holster, and I'll buy more.

+1 on the Cyclone. It also has the loop arrangement that allows both strong side and crossdraw carry.

Hands down the best holster I have ever used for my 610. He used a 4" Model29 to make it.

I concur Captain, I use the Kramer with my 4" 624, great choice.
