Here where I live in South central Mo. it's probably not as bad as some of you Arkansawyers got. My last measurement was right at 9 1/2". Problem is the first 1/2 to 3/4 of it is ice. It snowed for a while after this picture and we got a couple more inches. Both of those rigs are 2WD's. Ain't moving for a few days. The road grader came down my lane and shined it up something wonderful. I would rather have a little snow than the shiny ice for traction. I haven't owned any chains since I was a kid. At least I stored up goodies enough for a week or so when we got the winter storm warning. I can't drive my truck, but I can drive my Wife crazy. I love it when she can't get away from me :D......
Peace,
Gordon

You guys must not be putting enough carbon emissions up into the atmosphere there. I think we have it about right here as the temperature is pretty mild compared to other areas. Maybe if we sold you some of our carbon emission credits it would warm things up there.

Remember to avoid these cold weather spells you have to produce lots of carbon emissions or at lest buy some other folks carbon emission credits. I think that is how it works.

I ventured out today and the roads were pretty much just a sheen of black ice. Really, really dangerous even to walk around.

BOY HOWDY! Missouri sure is pretty in snow. Grew up in MO then moved to central IL. Back in the MO and loving it again.

all I can say is that is a good place for that white stuff...up here when it snows most of the drivers turn into idiots....

We are waiting for ours to get here tomorrow. Don't mind the snow, but the ICE is another matter. Get the cameras out. All bird feeders are full-- :)

I had a retired Crown Vic a few years back, and that was just horrible in the snow. I live in Michigan, and wondered how LEO's get around in those things when the bad weather hits.

Three hundred lbs. of sand tubes in the trunk will work wonders. My Ranger would be pretty much immobile in winter without them. A limited-slip diff will help a lot, too.
