Here is the update on the chained animals that where abandoned next door to us . The home condemend owners where evicted two weeks ago friday.Animal control finally removed all animals yesterday afternoon. With pressure from peta. Also news media was going to run it press and tv. Well it has been a huge battle but hope and pray they have better life. We are very sad as we couldn't help earlier. We know of 10 to 12 animals dead in last year and half from those folks . They got 6 newer litter dogs out.

Where is this? Are there any news links to stories about this?

Before you get to excited about PETA you should scour the web for articles related to them and their practices. Here is one that shines a different light on the organization.

The Ugly Truth Behind PETA

Not that I'm arguing but, I noticed no source name for the article. Unless I'm THAT blind? and I don't reckon so......And no, I'm NO fan of peta--just their spokeswoman-and no, I'm NOT being PC on that as I usually call it like it always has been. Anyway, I saw them demonstrating outside a local mcdonalds and a Kentucky Fried Chicken a number of years ago. At the mcds locale-that had a beautiful and naked woman all made up as a tiger or some sort of large cat. Needless to say, I drove by several times for the nice view. About a week later-that picketed KFC-and I had been wanting to eat elsewhere that day, but stopped in and took a window seat-just to tick the protestors off while I enjoyed a few pieces of chicken.

Keep your eyes on peta, follow the animals to make sure they adopt them out.

The stories are true, so don't let them double talk and obfuscate, make sure they get to good homes.

Your job is 1/2 way done.

Keep 'em honest.

Glad to hear that the animals where rescued. Sad that your Animal Control has no funding or enough people.

Our Animal Control is pretty good and they do the best with the funding they have, but we are a bigger County than yours We also have a division of the Sheriffs Office that deals in the larger farm animals.

As I understand it Animal Control has the animals? Anything is better than PETA having custody.

I would maybe alert any local rescues about the dogs.

Home condemned and owners evicted... They'll get another place to stay and start all over again if the local government doesn't watch them. There usually law breakers, some with mental problems others want easy money from puppy mils.
