Pachmayr used to make 2 sizes of Presentation grips for each gun model - Large and Small. The Large was about 1/4" thicker side-to-side than the small. The LARGE were only a tiny bit bigger in length and in depth front to back than the SMALL.

Now they apparently only make one size Presentation grips for each gun model.

Do any of you know if the current grips are like the old LARGE grips or like the old SMALL grips?

That's what I was afraid of Ridgewalker. I'm in the same boat as AZretired. The small ones fit me and the large ones do not.

The large are roughly 1-1/2" wide at the butt and the small are about 1-5/16" wide at the butt.

Yeah I would like to get some of the small presentations too. The larges are a bit to big. But shoot them enough and you will get used to them.
FWIW I have found the Decelerators fit well.

I have small Presentation grips on my old Ruger Security Six. I would like to have the same grips on my S&W Model 18 .22LR so it could serve as a ".22 conversion unit" for the .357 Ruger.

They made ones called "Compac" I think. They were the best concealment grips to be had.

I'd guess a set would show up on Ebay or Gunbroker if you want the old school grips.

The old-style Presentation grips, large and small, were very well molded and were two-piece. The modern style are one-piece and are klunky and 'block-y' in shape and feel. The drop-off in quality is extreme.
