Pachmayr S&W logo grip?

Found and bought this Pachmayr S&W logo grip this weekend at the local gun show in a $5 grab box. It fits my N frame round butt 629-4 3 inch perfect. Any idea what it came on originally? Or was it just a grip S&W sold as an accessory? Thanks!

It looks like the grip on my Night Guard 325. I think all of the Night Guards used that grip until very close to the end of their run.
