MrsZ and I closed on our first home yesterday. We'd been shopping since early spring, had one place under contract that fell apart due to an obstinate seller, and then literally stumbled into this one. We walked through once and made an offer three days later (waited for our agent to check comps). Seller was AWESOME to work with.
The house is about 135 years old, but has been extensively renovated and updated. 1800 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, nice deck, detached 3-car garage, all on 1.1 acres. 15 minutes to downtown but there's NOTHING near us.
We are thrilled.
