Really did not watch or have interest in the Olympics.A few nights ago I started watching the Paralympics.I was so impressed watching these Athletes, the determination in their faces, the sportsmanship exhibited was truly remarkable.Watching them was quite refreshing.Anyone else watch?

They also make us a little ashamed for grousing about our petty maladies.

Very true,I watched a young gal compete in the 100 meter back stroke, she came in fourth a couple tenths of a second behind the Bronze medal winner. She had one arm and one leg, amazing.Watched the sitting volley ball finals US against China,US won the Gold, both sides were true champions and played with a determination I haven`t seen in a long time.

Sabotage at Paralympics

Not all are true sportsmen.

Wheelchair Was Found Damaged Before The Race.

Two hours before the final of the men's 100-meter T51 race in this summer's Paralympic games, Peter Genyn arrived at the venue to find his wheelchair badly damaged.

"We had just arrived 45 minutes before the warmup, and we had three flat tires and a broken compensator. Everybody did everything they could to help, including the Dutch team," the Belgian athlete told the Olympic Information Services after the race Friday.
The bronze medalist Roger Habsch, another Belgian athlete, also reported a flat tire that he believed to be intentional, according to Sporza. The Belgian Paralympic Committee has reportedly asked for an investigation.
