I have a 1917 in 45 acp, which needs a barrel and a cylinder, any help out there?
Smith tells me they have a barrel available which will work, but they also say they can't help at all with the cylinder.
Does anyone know what the difference is, between say an original model 22 cylinder and a 1917? Could a new model 22 cylinder be fitted to the old 1917?
