I have a stripped slide for a 3rd Gen S&W DAO pistol that I'm trying to ID so that I can sell it.
It came in a box of S&W parts that I traded some Colt 1917 service revolver parts for and my 4566 barrel and recoil spring assembly fit in it perfectly but it's longer, 7 1/8", than the 4566 slide.
I think it's for a 4586 pistol but the only number on it is 89852 which is located under where the rear sight sits.
Any help identifying it would be appreciated.
