hello All,
made the gun show in Pasadena this passed weekend. it's a 98.6 mile drive for me but they always have seem to have a good show.
my wife actually asked me to go. she had a couple projects she wanted done and suggested i go and sell a few guns or some silver for a little more cash on hand.
I brought some silver bouillon and a Sig Mosquito for selling and or trading.
the first dealer to see the Sig bought it. as usual folks were happy to buy silver at $22.00 an ounce. spot was $21.50. so i had the wifes project money togeather.
there were quite a few Smiths for sale for top dollar with very little interest in negotiating.
i witnessed a gentleman being offered to little for a post war/pre model # 30 S&W revolver. after they were done dickering i asked to look at the little gun and offered him half again what the dealer offered him. we didn't make a deal so i told him if he didn't sell it to let me know before he left the show and give me another chance to buy it.
about an hour later he tracked me down and we arrived at a price we both were happy with. ($450.00) the revolver was in great condition. after i got home and got my 4rth edition SCSW and took a look. several features were a mix of the info i was reading.
serial number 630203 with a tad less than 3" barrel, flat latch cylinder release 4 screw with matching diamond magnas chambered in 32 S&W Long. anyhow here it is. what do you folks think. as usual for me crappy cell phone pics.
thanks, kenny/krs
