Paw Paw West Virginia Memorial Day Car Show and Parade

For your entertainment, I present the annual Memorial Day Car Show and Parade in the small town of Paw Paw West Virginia.
People come from far and wide to enjoy the festivities.

Beautiful cars, weather and scenery.

I notice that we have much the same taste.

They moved the Friday night cruse around the corner from me. I'll have to get some pics.

I wanted to go last week but it looked like rain and now it's hotter than heck and getting dark at 8:30ish. I tend to come home after working in the weather and enjoy my AC that I pay dearly for.

I know, Lots of excuses but my point is. I'd like to be somewhere like Paw Paw.

You missed the red and white F-100 though.

My Dad bought his '66 new when I was 6.

Dad passed last August. I wanted to keep the truck but didn't want to lose the farm restoring it.

I sold it. Sunday I drove it for most likely the last time. Powered by a winch at .01 MPH. It had some water in the tank.

I can't get my pictures to load or edit.

It is beautiful out here. every season has it's own kinda beauty.
I look forward to the Memorial Day festivities every year. This year I have a video camera so I can share it.
There are other festivals through the summer and I intend to get those on video as well.

I would've loved to have spent to whole day at the car show but We had to get set up for the parade.
The cool thing was we walked a block to the car show and the parade was about half a block from home. Practically in our back yard.

Im surprised my Bro-in_law and Sis wasnt there? they show up at most of these things as they are car show fanatics. I am too-but cant afford to walk next toone of these cars. Thanks for posting.
