Found it and rescued it. Dirty and stiff she sat. Brought her home, feed her Hoppe's #9 and lots of cotton. She's looking real good but camera shy. Will try to get her to sit still for some pics to follow. Will take out for a range date and let her do her thing.

I picked up a November 1993 NIB specimen in '09. Haven't shot it since then. I guess I need to take the mini "L" frame out on the next trip. :)

I traded a newer-used S&W 638 + $200 including tax and also got a well used Tad Moore putter. I really wanted the M60-4. Will keep her well feed with brass and lead and liquored up with Hoppe's #9. We should do just fine.

I hate you! I am so envious! Great find, that looks great, man what a find, I have been looking for one of thoes for a long while but with no luck.

My 60-4. The trigger and accuracy are very much like a good K-frame.

Some info, please

To all,

Please advise the number of model 60-4 that were produced. What is the market price for very nice non boxed, I am thinking of selling mine as much as I don't want to.

I recall the production figure to be in the several (3-7?) thousand range but I could be off on this number. These have appreciated in price greatly over the past 1-2 years, and one in decent condition will be in the $500 range, more with the original box and contents.

Still haven't found one yet :( . Hope this is helpful.

Very nice, also be curious how much she set you back? Buyer here if you're interested :)

I believe that the 60-4 is one of the finest trail guns ever produced. I sure like mine. They are terrific companion to the shotgun when bird hunting - great for sitting rabbits and wounded grouse.
