PB Blaster for Firearms?

PB BLASTER

I had similar ?'s. First there are different types of PB, so make sure you get the one intended for firearms. Normally I'm a clp guy, but tried the PB. It seemed to lubricate very well while penetrating deeper & continuing to bring dirt up to the surface longer. When I lube I put it on, let it work for maybe an hour then wipe it off, enough should remain to keep things "lightly lubed" without attracting dirt/dust/sand. I hate to over oil, unless the gun is going to be stored for a long time. Fot maintenance lube a drop or 2 of clp on a q-tip does an entire gun for me.

Basically PB Blaster penetrates rust, loosens it to allow some rusted parts to be loosened easier. Otherwise heat, cool and penetrant. It has virtually no rubbing type of lubrication. Everything will wear out quickly if U continue to use it on a firearm. Use an actual cleaner lubricant if U choose. Watch Hitchcock 45 on U tube. He will spray the bolt generously with his brand.

Works great for out in the garage but I wouldnt use it on guns for many reasons and one being that it smells sooooo bad.
