Here's one for you brainiacs out there . Midway has a 365 barrel for the Super9 on their site . Would this fit in either a Target Champion or a 5906IDPA ? I have the shorter 365 but want a 5in and I figure this would be cheaper than a $3-4000 5in 365 . If I have to I'd go that route but I thought I'd throw this out there before I get in trouble with my better half .

No, the Super 9 is not a PC gun and does not use the Briley bushing. A Super 9 barrel literally cannot be used in any non-modified, non-custom altered gun of any kind EXCEPT the Super 9.

If you seek a 5-inch .356TSW, you might have luck by contacting Scott Sullivan who was working with Claudio Salassa st Briley. They produced a run of PC barrels and if they don't have a .356TSW chambered barrel, a second 9mm barrel is merely 2.5mm of reamer work to chamber a .356TSW.

The muzzle end of a Super 9 barrel looks just like a full production 3rd Gen barrel but because it is 5-inches long, the only handgun in existence it will fit is a Super 9.

Haha you guys either have fat fingers or a tiny wire crossed... it's not 365 like days in a year or ugly Sig compacts, it is 356 -- like a thousandth over bore diameter.

I don't believe that Scott actually worked for Briley but I cannot speak for Scott. I can tell you that he is a rocket fueled enthusiast and a heckuva nice guy and the kind of fellow that will absolutely help if he can.

He might be the world's foremost .356TSW enthusiast.

Does Scott Sullivan still work at Briley ? Do you know how to get ahold of him ?

Make sure you have a full understanding of how to proceed if you feel there's a "warranty issue" on the barrel you purchase from him.

I never got a full explanation on why Briley would warranty a barrel I purchased directly from him, an individual, how Briley would know who I am when I called them requesting work authorization, & what costs I'd be obligated to for fitting or repairs if it had to be sent to Briley.

I received no receipt or paperwork for the transaction detailing any of this.

Just a thought to you if that matters.

.

Thanks for the heads up Bluedot . If the barrels need fitting the only person I'd trust is BMCM . I bought a barrel off BarSto for my 1006 , but it stated fitting MAY be necessary , but of course it is . I'm willing to bet they'll need to be fitted , but either way I'll be happy . A 357Sig and a 356 barrel fitted to my PC guns and I'll be a happy camper .
