Just picked one up new and I really like it so far but the orange grips aren't my cup of tea, anyone have pictures of theirs with aftermarket grips ??

And info on grips would be appreciated...

I have the E-Series version of your gun and while the brown laminated wood grips that model comes with are attractive, I'm a sucker for nicely-figured wood but have struck out finding any that fit our guns. I did contact Esmeralda O'Sheehan from www.esmeralda.cc who told me she can make grips for them. She is away until November, so contact her then.

I have a pair of her grips on my PC1911 - they are gorgeous and fit perfectly.

He sells at gun shows, directly, and thru amazon. I think he has his own website now, but not sure.

He made these for the Smith. I am getting set of 1 piece Ivory's for a Colt SAA from him tomorrow.

He does have the pattern for this gun now after making my grips. He has all different kinds of material. My wife and I happened to like these but I would guess he will have some material you will like.

Go to VZ Grips and pick out any grip you want with options.

It don't matter what grips you put on that PC ,because it's gonna like great. Look at all the pics you can and buy the grips that look best to you. I have a buddy that has a different set of grips for every day of the week for his PC. Best of luck and be sure to post some pic of what you get.

Have the SC and put a set of Altamont finger groove stocks in Rosewood on it. No, they do not make these to fit the round butt, so I got the standard ones and re-worked them to fit.

Had to do these things to them: Round and taper the bottom to match the curve of the grip. Mill out a spot for the ambi-safety.
Shorten the top right side to clear the plunger tube. Mill out a little spot on each side to clear the main spring rivet. Sand down the stocks with wicked fine sand paper and polish with some jewelers rouge. That all took about 1/2 hour and now I have some grips that work really well for me. Comfortable and pretty.

I know, no pics it didn't happen, but I have no pics and it certainly did happen. Anyone care to school my on how to post pics here? There must be a sticky somewhere.........
