Oh don't you marry Earl.

The fixed blade in the sheath is a Case Desk Knife, you can tell it's real mother of pearl because of the small chip on the other side from when I dropped it. Very handy for letters and boxes.

The two folders are from Tim Britton of Winston-Salem NC. I've actually carried the small one on the very rare occasions I had to dress like a grownup.

MOP scaled knives are quite beautiful but very delicate. Most were "Sunday Knives'. Far too delicate for everyday use. To see a large folder with such scales is uncommon as most were smaller knives for Sunday or the ladies.

Real MOP was offered as a higher-end option back then and sure looks nice in the right lighting.

Here is the only one I have from Landers, Frary, and Clark (along with a vintage Remington I just picked up).

I only have one pearl handled knife. It is a 1935 Remington Genuine Pearl R7854 "Equal End" Senator's Knife. This knife measures 3" closed. The front of the master Spear is stamped with the encircled Remington marking with Made In USA around the circle, while the smaller Pen blade is stamped with the encircled Remington. The Main Blade measures 1 13/16" long.

High carbon steel spear point blade and pen blade. The blade have good snap without half stops. Nickel silver bolsters, liners, and handle pins. Proudly made in the U.S.A. This knife has a nice patina and is in excellent condition. The handles are a lovely older Genuine Mother Of Pearl and NO CRACKS! Real nice gentlemen's pocket knife.

Unfortunately, the only picture I can find now is one with other knives.

My present MOP knives are in this group picture:

The large stag folder is a Puma Prince. The first MOP is very old and very used and seems to say "Hammer Brand" on the larger blade but ICBW. The next one is a two-blade Gerber very similar to the one in the first picture I posted but that one had a single blade. The 4th is a Gerber single-blade and has bone or stag scales and seems similar to the previous Gerber. The last one, the littlest one, is also old and is marked WESTERN USA on the left side of the blade and "243" on the right side. To me that last one is an old gentleman's vest pocket knife.
