Well Texas has the biggest budget for player payroll and it showed yesterday. They may not win it all this year but I bet they'll win several national championships in the coming years since college football is now all about who pays out the most money to the players. Actual amounts are not disclosed by the University but they have two quarterbacks making several million per year.

GREAT game even though I was pulling for USC.I normally do not give a whit about Oregon, but was pulling for them against THE Ohio State. BTW the Big Ten suddenly is a pretty interesting conference!
The Georgia-Texas game ought to be pretty good. Seems like the SEC has so many good teams that everyone will end up with a couple of losses along the way as we eat our own.
Oh, btw Last night's game in Baton Rouge was ....pretty good

There is true irony in any OU Fan complaining about how much any other team is paying players! I read an excellent article about Barry Switzer last night. He was a master of working the NIL system, 30 years before anyone had ever heard of NIL! He could have given the “Pony Express” lessons back in the day.
