Really no clue where to put this topic so if it gets moved from here;I'm good w/that..
I got this from a friend about 5 yrs ago and has been in my safe ever since...Never really had a clue what it was cause there are no proof marks on it..But was watching Pawn Stars tonite on the rerun of last weeks show and they showed an older one and it dawned on me;dummy "it's black powder"..:rolleyes:Then againI've only shot one precussion in my 41 yrs;and that was this past year.It was a friend of mine's too..Anyways;no clue to the maker;the caliber and it's age and possibly the value..Was googling and found one on the National Firearms Museum site(The National Firearms Museum: Percussion Cane Gun)And I do mean the exact cane.Follow the link..But don't give answers to what I need to know..Figured I'd ask the pro's here.Anybody???

Cane Gun

They are 36 caliber black powder "Griffon" cane guns offered "Exclusively by: Morris Lawing" out of Charlotte,N.C. Most probably no longer offering them or still in business. Paid $20.00 for mine new many years ago. Hope this helps.

There was a percussion cane gun on Pawn Stars just a few days ago. Much older than what you have there, shot fine on the tv show.

As I watched Chumlee using it as a cane at the range, I couldn't help thinking the barrel might plug up. And how do you keep the ball and powder in place, with gravity and all?
