I recently purchased a perfect dot front sight directly from Night Fision. Loved the way it looked, was excited to get it on my M&P45.
Upon installation, I found the angles to be incorrect. They did not match the dovetail in the slide very well and it was clear there was going to be a problem, but I made the mistake to forge ahead and try to get it installed anyway. Eventually gave up, very unhappy with the fit and contacted the manufacturer. They had me send it back for evaluation (on my dime) and eventually blamed me for a botched install. Told me to use a qualified gun smith next time and offered me a discount on my next one. Not about to throw good money after bad.
Funny how I have no problems installing other manufacturers sights on my guns. It's a shame, I really like(d) the sight picture I would have had with the 10-8 u-notch rear sight.
YMMV
