Anyone living in NW Ohio? Fin Feather Fur has Perfecta 9mm on sale for $8.99/box of 50. They do not do online sales/shipping, but if you live close to Milan, Ohio, it might be worth the drive!

I have a 380 Bodyguard that gave me issues when I first bought it, and the LGS I purchased it from, did some minor cleaning and proceeded to run some Perfectas in it. BG fired flawlessly, which made me a believer in Perfecta brand. LGS told me this ammo was sold by Walmart. I live in South Florida and have never seen it in their cabinets, NEVER. Kind of gave up on finding this brand, but this week I received Fin Feather Fur winter sale ad, and lo and behold, they are selling the 9MM loads for $8.99/box. I wish they had a store down here, I would stock up at that price. Maybe some of you who might live within driving distance might be able to take advantage of this sale? This ammo is produced by Fiocchi and imported by Tulammo. Great price and they have numerous other brands and loads on sale, as well! I believe the sale ends 1/28/18!

Actually, Fin Feather Fur has 5 locations in Ohio. Ashland, Middleburg, Canton, Boardman and Milan.

Good luck and happy shooting! - Rick

Walmart had it for a while, but I think they stopped selling it a couple of years ago. It wasn't always in stock, but when it was I made it a point to grab some. I still have some 158gr 38Spcl range fodder, but I think I shot all of my 9mm. It was good ammo and prices were very good.

I'm nowhere near OH, so no ammo for me.

Perfecta was essentially WMs house brand for awhile. I haven't seen any on WM shelves for quite some time. I think that Perfecta was made by Fiocci in Italy. Seems that Tulammo steel case is now the cheapest line of 9mm WM sells. Last time I priced it there, it was $7.78/box.

Pretty good price and Perfecta is decent range ammo. I wish Wally World was still selling it. I got a couple of boxes of 45acp for $14 a box locally when they were closing it out and it shot great. Of course 28 cents a round is a lot more than what it costs me to reload it, but since it is brass-cased it was a good source for some once-fired brass as well.

Besides the very fair $9.79/box of 50 for Perfecta 9mm at Walmart it was the convenience of buying some while shopping for other things that had me buy it.With a supply a 5 minute drive away there was no need to invest in case lots and have the money tied up for a few months or more.

The NATO spec 9mm shot well in my Model 59s and 39-2s with no failures to fire in the thousands of rounds fired.Once fired Perfecta brass pistol cases are very good to reload.

When I got word that the Perfecta ammo could no longer be ordered by the Walmart stores' sporting goods managers I bought all they had in the calibers I shot.I still have a few 9mm left but the 38s and 357s are gone.

I have quite a bit of Perfecta still in various calibers and always found it to be pretty darn good stuff for the price. I would have bought more if I had known it was going away.
