I had to requalify for my LEOSA certification today. LEOSA allows retired law enforcement officers.to carry on all 50 states of you qualify as n year.

Department qualification course is a 250 score max. Firing the gun for the first time for score, I shot a 244. Not bad for an old man!

I had a lot of guys asking about it afterwards. Sure was a sweet shooter! Ealy one, too: serial # 004. Bought it and a PC in .38 Super recentlg. Would have shot the Super but only have one mag, so far, for it, but may use it next year.I

Really excellent firearms.

If you don't mind me asking , what is is chambered in .38 Super . I have a thing for anything in that caliber .

Sweet Smiths! Definitely plan to keep on top of my training and qualifications when I retire. Are you allowed to carry any firearm you own or limited to those you qualify with?

Under LEOOSA, you are qualified to carry a handgun. There is no requirement that you qualify with every one you wish too carry.

It is like your drivers license. You qualify to drive a car, no restrictions on what car.
