Brought this guy home today. Performance Center 629-8. Thanks again to sw282 for the heads up on it. Came with box, papers, gun rug. I'm happy with the purchase. Not a fan of the stocks, but that's an easy fix.

Certainly needs a good cleaning. I’ll give it one tonight. I put some CLP under the side plate & that helped smooth things out a bit.

Added some great Grashorn elk to it. Can’t really express how much better it feels in the hand now. The OE wood is just to thin. FYI prior owner had it zeroed at 50 yards.

Those are a huge improvement Cory. How does that one shoot compared to your Light Hunter or the Magnum Hunter?

Very nice! I had been eyeballing that same PC model last year, but ended up buying a 29 Classic 6-1/2" instead.

It has a touch more recoil, but it's not much. Shooting the scope at 6x was a challenge.
