Hello all, renewing my CCW plus the required re-certification is getting expensive.. If anyone knows a less expensive re-certification place around the twin cites of Minneapolis, MN please let me know..

I took the class in New Brighton, MN. The venue is just north of 694 on Silver Lake Road. The website says $50 for recert...

took my renewal up north - LETTA - $80 included lunch and their guns/ammo if you wished. $75 with sheriff.

My son in law took his carry permit class on line through Shades Landing. He sent me the lessons as he was completing the course and it was almost identical to what the organization I teach with does in the classroom. He is an attorney and a good shooter so he knows firearms and use of force law already. He is extremely busy so this was a good option. He did complete a range qualification at an indoor range in the Twin Cities with Gary Shade. You could check their website and see what they charge for recertification.

Update : I just checked their website and the cost for an online renewal class is $55.

How often do you renew? Do you have to take a "course" each time? Be Safe,

MN permit expires after 5 years, and you must retake the 6 hour course and demonstrate the ability to use a pistol, in order to renew. The cost of the permit, by law, cannot exceed $100.
