Boys,

If we think that Biden and "the committe" are going to "visit" with all pertinent to the issue and then run into some back room and hammer out a proposal, we are mere lemmings headed for a "dropoff".

This legislation has been in existence for a long time, years in my estimation. All of this publicity is just window dressing, paying homage, and seizing an opportunity to "strike while the iron is hot." Our opponents have been waiting for a time like this for a longgggggggg time. Stupid, no they are not. They are dedicated to their cause. However, there are a number gunowners pay only lipservice to our side. Talk is cheap and results from such is priced accordingly.

I just called Senator John Cornyn, (R-Texas) office. A nice young lady with a really bad cold told me I could count on Sen. Cornyn to support our 2nd Amendment ("absolutely and totally") were the words she used. Boys, burn up those phone lines and lets do more than preach to the choir.

I always liked to take my medicine in one big dose. While there are other issues that are dragging our nation down I am selfishly involved in this one.

We are in big trouble in a lot of ways.

Join the NRA now NOW not tomorrow.

I'm with you, Bill. This scheme to disarm America didn't just appear. It's been in the making for a long, long time.

Those who ignore the push by the PC liberals to take our guns away will be the first to complain when they knock on their doors. I am one who has complained bitterly at times about the NRA but they are the biggest and loudest at defending our 2nd Amendment, therefore I am a Benefactor member and support their FNRA wholeheartedly as they give so much back to the Junior Rifle Program in our state.
If every gun owner belonged to the NRA there would not be this push to take our guns away as the politicians would recognize the political power the NRA would have.

Does anyone really think "Her Hypocrite-ness" Diane Feinstein drafted her "new" gun-hate bill in an evening last month? She's been crafting that rubbish since '94 and pulled it out of her sock drawer when the "proper crisis" arose.

If all gun owners were members of the NRA we wouldn't be hearing about all this nonsense. Like someone else said if we lose the 2nd the first will not be far behind.
