Recognizing that it might not be the best for a 6” N frame :). I’m curious if anyone is using am Enigma rig for concealed carry. How is it working for you? What are you carrying with it?

I recently bought an Enigma Express for my P365X after spending considerable time on Phlster's website and on YouTube watching their videos and videos by others about the Enigma.

I've been tweaking it, moving if around my body and adjusting the straps and the wedge for about two weeks, off and on, getting it dialed in. Phlster has put a lot of thought into concealed carry, and the Enigma system.

My opinion is that if you are willing to take the time to fiddle with it to accommodate it to your particular body it will likely work for anyone. But, going in, I think important to realize fitting it properly takes time and effort. It is not just a strap on and go solution. I suspect many people give up quickly and decide they don't like it because they haven't the patience to get it dialed in properly.

I think a 6" N-frame is a bad idea for concealed carry with the Enigma. Maybe for a truly huge person, but not for most of us, for sure. Phlster does have an explanation and a video, IIRC, on how to measure yourself for what size gun is likely to work for you.

I like it for carrying when OWB, my preferred method of carry, is not an option, or for when wearing clothing that will not accommodate a proper belt.

(My 6” N frame comment was supposed to be sarcasm. :). )

I live in the SE and as the weather gets warmer, I find myself switching to smaller, less effective carry guns due to the difficulties of concealing a larger gun in summer time casual attire. The enigma looks like it might work for me and a CZ P01.

FWIW, I used an Engima last night for 100-degree heat in gym type shorts. That’s the Enigma’s sweet spot - very secure carry in untraditional clothes. That said, I have used the Enigma under more traditional clothing with a belt. Useable, but not my preferred mode.

Last night it carried a Smith 442 wonderfully. Probably would carry a steel frame nearly as well, as the body belt is 1.5 inch wide, providing decent stability. While different body sizes may influence this, my personal weight of gun would stop around 30 ounces. I have used ThunderWear holster in the past and that will beat you to death at a trot or as low as a brisk walk. The Enigma is better than that ThunderWear for stability and ability to manage a fast walk speed of movement.

As noted by Onomea, it is fiddly to get adjusted to you. Watching the videos help. I still have use to get the leash truly comfortable and effective. The leash is necessary, but cannot find the sweet spot. Ay be a body specific issue for me.
