Photo posting

Why is it that some people post photos in full size while others post thumbnails?

What makes the difference? Every photo I have posted here came out in thumbnails.

Am I doing something wrong?

I think if you post photos directly from a file on your computer you get thumbnails. But if you post your pics at a third party site (photobucket, flickr, etc) then link them to the thread you will see full size photos. I think computer savy people can it "Hosting"
