Went out in the back, and shot a mag of Federal bulk, bout 25yards, useing my Barsak 3-9x42 scope with a Caldwell NXT rest. Heres a couple pix, target, gun, and NXT rest. the NXT rest was only 20 bucks at Academy. Works great.

Thanks for your reply, and thanks to all the other 'lookers' that didnt take the time to reply.

I guess that answers the question of what accuracy the gun is capable of ... not sure what it says about the shooter though since practically all the human factors were taken out ...

Now how about some pix of the target without the stand and the scope?

Nice. I wish I could shoot in my back yard. :(

I wish i had Hispeed internet...but i guess ita all part of being out in the woods, you can shoot, ride your atv, etc. But being out here, AT&T or other companies could care less about you.

The 15-22 will 'hold' a great deal more than any Kimber. My 15-22 has gained about 3lbs. Lets see a Kimber do that!

funny, good one..is that with or without the tacticandle

ya know... that thread was darn funny. I don't remember who came up with the name "Tacticandle" but I doubt I'll ever be able to get that reference out of my head. From then on... it seemed a little easier to poke fun at the craziness of some of the goodies we bolt on without folks getting bent out of shape.

From what I have seen they spend time ridiculing women who work at Walmart and generally showing contempt for those who look different or less fortunate in life. Just my brief observations... but the Forum Moderators seem to spend a significant amount of time in the Lounge lecturing members on the rules, locking down threads, issuing warnings, and general babysitting.

We've got such a great barrel of apples here in Long Guns... I hope it remains so.

Well said Phil.....;)
....btw, you know what they say about guys who like Long Guns?:D

Ok Guys, I got a min. to sit down with some bags and play with my rifle.. i zeroed it in and hung a new target. All the bulls were shot in rapid fire but 1. That 1 was just to see what it would do.. its labled test group.. I rarly count the ammo that goes in the mag but on the test fire and 2 - 20 shot groups i did just for sh**s and giggles and labled the paper wrong lol.. the rest were random loads and i counted the holes...

All shots were taking at the same distance.. 40 steps.. or as my range finder says 44.6 yds...

"Rapid fire" means as fast as i can recover and put cross hairs back where i wanted them. In bags for me thats about 2 shots per sec. (give or take)

The only mods the rifle has is a NCSTAR 3-9x42 scope, caa grip, a barrel shroud that is applying alittle pressure to the forearm plug, and alittle trigger work.. thats it

Ammo was fed. bulk pack..

Hope this answers any questions of what these guns are capible of with alittle tinkering..
