Why? Has it got pine nuts in it? Where do you get those?
The only cooking shows I watch are Devon Windsor's vlogs on YouTube. But I may really try her recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Sure, I watch because she's among my favorite Victoria's Secret models, but she is a great hostess, whether she's cooking or going to Barcelona or showing her boyfriend catching marlin off of the Dominican Republic.
I have to say, that picadillo meal looks right good. All it lacks is Devon telling how to make it. I think I'd rather learn to cook this than that sweet potato gnocchi stuff she made. But watch that video, because the squash she made would go equally well with this picadillo dish. Yes, really. Or use zucchini squash and a good tomato-based sauce. Put more meat in the picadillo thingee and you'd have a really decent meal. Well, it has enough meat. Just would prefer a larger serving.
This leaves me hungry. I think I'll head for the kitchen and cook some broccoli, instant brown rice, and salmon. I just pour Wishbone Italian dressing on the salmon. I'm too lazy to make sauces. I just buy those like Ragu or Classico that come ready in a jar. There are several varieties. I like those with mushrooms and green peppers.
Jay, are you still in remote Central America, with the Air Force? I think I recall you posting recently about that. Do they use refried pinto beans much there, or is it all black beans, that far south?
