Picked up a 27-2

Picked up a 27-2 with 5 inch barrel. Can anyone give me an idea on the ship date. SN # N3400xx. Do the grips look original? I paid 720.00 OTD. Did i do ok on the price? Thanks for all the information.

Congrats on getting the finest S&W made, of course some may disagree. Grips look original, could use a good cleaning. You did very well on the price.

1. Ship date about 1976.
2. Grips look legit.
3. $720 out the door is reasonable.
