Bid on and won a nice 5 screw K-22 in a local auction. Paid 575 for it but it was worth that to me. Serial K-24327X Condition is about maybe 92% + or -. Few chips in the bottom of the grips/stocks and the end of the bbl may have had a little cold blue. I'll find out when I clean it up. Much rather have gotten this than the Rossi SS 22 that brought the same price. Can anyone give me an idea of the ship date? I am going to have to do a little shooting with this one. Thanks for help on the date.Got other good items in this auction but ammo prices were ridiculous such as an 1100 round BYOB bucket of 22LR for 450 dollars? Really!

Thanks for theinfo. I thought it was about that time. But never really know . Hopefully this one will shoot well. I may even sell the little 34 as it seems to be too small in my hand. We'll see after I shoot thids one Eye surgery Tuesday so may take a while

cleaned it up today. No cold blue but the blue is thinning at the barrel end just a bit. I am surprised y'all thought the price was good. I kinda thought 575 was a bit high...but I really don't follow prices all that much. I always figure if it is in my price range...buy it! Heck I bought a Ruger NM Blackhawk today for 500. 41 mag. Like new with box etc shot 12 times...got the other 38 that were left.

That's not a bad price from what I seen in the past and what the prices are now. When I was shopping more than a decade ago the prices were much higher.

I passed on a 17-3 at a LGS for $550 and was kicking my self every time I thought about it, took me a while to find another K22 at a price I could afford, so yea, I think $575 for that was a really good deal

Nice find, "Skeet."

Have fun.

Best of luck with the surgery.
Thanks for the well wishes. Got to get in touch with you soon. Need a Chief or two...but shooters....carry guns. One for daughter and another for granddaughter. They live in never never land up in Montana.

Love the K22!
The 22 Ammo price, not so much.
Good thing I have these in the safe!

I bid on a Remington 572 22 pump... And not the deluxe version..really nice condition essentially new and it went for 425 or more. I quit looking when it got to 425. Good to have those tubs of 22s. I have 5 of the 1600 Round "cases". Had six but sold one to a friend. 32 boxes of 50 in them. I think I have 'nuff 22s with all the bulk boxes. Wish I had as many 9mms. Found a few 100 round boxes of CCI standard velocity and the high velocity ones today. I even found a few boxes of the Winchester 22s with the no lead tin bullets. Darn things were expensive when I bought them a couple years ago. What did the BYOBs cost when you bought them??

I don't remember how much I paid for the buckets.
Bought them at Cabela's. One of the last times I saw a bunch of ammo the there.
About two months ago was the last time I bought ammo at Cabela's.
I stood in a short line and got 500 Rounds of Minimags.
