Picked up CS40 off layaway.

I picked up my CS40 off layaway. It was $260 plus tax including box and spare mag. I can't wait to shoot it. Here are some pics. I checked and it slides into my Comp Tac holster for Sig 228. I need to order one more mag. I think I will pick up a JIT slide holster too. I was able to get some bonded White box Winchester 180 JHP for $24 for 50 rounds too out the door from LGS. The same store has a 469 in the case that is tempting too.

looks like you got a great deal!!!! I have the complete CS line, like them all, hope you'll like your 40 as much as I like mine. If you for some reason don't, you'll have no trouble selling it.

S&W emailed back stating born on date =1999. I like that it doesn't have twenty different warnings printed on slide like newer handguns do.

lol... people buy 3913's and immediately run out to get some rubber Hogues to replace the thin plastic OEM grips. S&W sees this so they put Hogue grips on the CS series. The result? People start looking for thin plastic grips for it....

If Hogue made a straight back strap rubber grip then i would be happy but i dont like the curved much so big dogs for my CS-45 A-Cometh

I sent email to [email protected] just included my name and that I was seeking date of manufacturer only. I received email back same day telling me it was manufactured in 99.
