Picked up my Model 67

I picked up my new (to me) Model 67 yesterday. My wife says her mid-century 5" M&P is prettier, I can see her point.

I like the 67 though, it looks like my 629 Mountain Gun, only smaller. Same tapered barrel look, and it has a great balance.

Other than an ugly screw or two, the revolvers is in good shape, although it has a set of target grips installed. I have to say the P/O really could have bought a set of screwdrivers that fit.

S/N is 6K70XXX, I guess it was made somewhere between 1972 and 1977.

Congratulations. That is a nice revolver. It is good that the po did not damage the frame. Screws are easy to refile or replace.

Replacement screws are available from S&W as well as Brownells and probably Midway.
