Picked up New Blackhawk today!

My Calif 10 Day wait was over today. Went over after work & picked up my new 357 Blackhawk! I already swaped the plastic grips with a set of rosewood Ruger grips. This is one beefy gun! I have been dry firing with A-Zoom snap caps. Just waiting for Range day this Sat!

I can't afford any more new guns this year. Between guns & ammo, Im going broke!

Sure is a beauty though. Would post pics of my Single Six & Blackhawk together, but do not have the capabilty

Is there anything better in the world? (Well.. ok yeah, but not many) I'm going to be in the market for something new soon myself.

I've got to say though, I feel bad for you living in Cali with a TEN DAY WAIT! In Pennsylvania we have to deal with a 10 minute wait if the dealer is slow!
 
Sell one of those guns and buy a camera!
Ok, maybe not.
Any friends with a camera? We need pictures!
 
Yes, I love S/A's! Love D/A's too! Maybe thats why I am always broke...lol...

If I can fiqure a way to get pics I will. I am not using a computer, I am using my Cell Phone...

Bob, send the guns to me. I'll take a few pictures, a lot of shots, and (eventually) send them back...

I would worried if I was in Pennsylvania, your governor seems to be doing his best to outlaw al be l guns
 
10 days isn't bad if you consider I bought and paid for two guns at the end of last Nov and I am still waiting for the paperwork to go through
 
Silvercorvette, what is the story on the long wait? I should have thought SC would be much more gun friendly than that?
As to pa. our Gov is a jack a--, but I boubt there will be any legislation passed. I suspect he is carrying water for the Obama administration. He is "pushing" for legislation, but also understands that there are more pressing issues, etc, etc. He isn't running again and is apparently trying to move toward a national job. He supported Hillary so this may be a stretch. I think he may not like DC, all the good stuff is already stolen.

My first magnum handgun purchase was a BH in 357. Loved that pistol. I learned a lot of good lessons with that revolver.

Yep that is the reason, The guns I bought are both full auto. Each gun requires a $200 federal tax stamp, you have to include passport size photos, and a letter of approval from the sheriff. If can take between 8 to 16 weeks after you mail in the checks to the FEDs for them to approve the transfer
