Anybody have a pic of Ahrends grips on a blued K frame, especially a fixed sighted heavy barrel? The Pachmayr's on my minty 13 feel great, but such a nice gun needs wood, but the Magna's that came with the gun don't look or feel right to me.

Not mine, but they are retro combats, in either a square butt or a round to square conversion grip style. Not sure if they are cocobolo or moradillo.

Ahrends retro round butt concealed carry, moradillo on a 19-3 blue and 19-4 nickel.

To be honest. I'm not 100% sure. My serial number is close to the Dept if State guns and I think they were matte finished.

I just bought it about a month ago. It's hard to tell if its an aftermarket parkerizing ( or ceracote type finish ) or if its original.

The lettering seems nice and crisp, which to me, implies an original finish.

Wasn't there a special run of Secret Service M19s with that finish?

I think Secret Service used 19s as well. But from what I read. The Dept of State Diplomatic details used the matte finish 19-5s

Could be wrong.
