Here's my M&P 15-22 hanging out with with my other favorite .22's. Marlin 783 22 mag is the one on top and the lever guns are Marlin 39a's. When the weather's nice the M&P and the two lever guns get quite a workout!

Here's my Marlin 99-M1 gold trigger that I acquired after my grandfather passed away in 1981. I was with him when he bought it in the mid 70's. He paid 59 dollars for it brand new. Tube fed, holds 9 rounds of 22lr.

Finally got some pics of my Ruger Mk III 22/45 TB so I've got something to post here :)

It's got the Houge grip, Bushnell TRS-25, TacSol compensator and holster, and Volquartsen match trigger, sear, and Mk II bushing.

After some initial frustration w/ the disassembly/reassembly quirkiness I'm really happy w/ this pistol. It's tons of fun, has a cool Han Solo type aesthetic, and seems surprisingly accurate at range considering it's only a 4.5" barrel.

Got a Rem 597 that I can't find pictures of, but here's my Sig Mosquito I been toying around with a little polish work. It's aluminum so it's a little different than stainless. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359726729.580076.jpg

It's not completely finished, I've got a little fine-tuning around the edges. And boy does your hand oils make the aluminum shine grubby real quick. Polishes out easily tho. I still got a finish round and put it all back together. I had to come back to work for 3 weeks so it got put on hold til I get home. I just threw the slide back on to get some pictures, that's why the safety's not in it.

An Equinox Mosquito! I did the same with a P250 (that i love, since i started out as a revolver shooter). just did not go down the sides as much as yours yet. looks good!

Thank you. I like the looks of yours as well. What is your slide made of? Mine is aluminum so it took a little more to get it smooth. Think I'm doing all the controls next.

As to the P250 "Equinox" slide is steel actually and polishes well with a dremel felt as the finish is not that tough, then the rag with some 'Mothers' and i felt it was done enough. I don't carry it that much do to weight. since that pic i have polished the trigger, hammer and the slide locks and pin ends. looks pretty good. it's a keeper just cause i like the modularity of being able to change it from a 9mm subcompact to a full size .357 sig or .40 in about 2 minutes. they are like lego's, put them together any way you want, but only if you like a long but consistent revolver type trigger pull.
Doc Robin where the hell did you find a PMR?????????????????????????
I want one so bad i can taste it, mmmm.....22 WMR taste in mouth...good!

My first firearm was a Glenfield 60, .22LR, with a 4x scope, that was around $90 at K-Mart waaaaaay back in 1977. I followed it with a Remington 700, 6mm, which I used for silhouette shooting, and a Winchester 9422M, .22Mag, that was just for fun. The difference between .22LR and .22Mag was the reason the Winchester is the only one that made it into the 21st Century (that and a divorce).

I didn’t get back into shooting again until 2009, and my first purchase was a Heritage Rough Rider single action revolver, .22LR/.22Mag (99% of the time it has the .22Mag cylinder in it), to go with my Winchester. I love the .22Mag cartridge, so when Kel-Tec announced the PMR-30, I wanted one. I got mine in 2010, and then expanded with a .22Mag bolt rifle, and 9mm pistol and carbine. I just added a pair of Smith & Wesson M&Ps – the 15-22 rifle and 22 pistol. If and when Kel-Tec comes out with the RMR-30, it will be added to my collection.

I have deliberately purchased my firearms so that I can limit my ammunition stocks to .22LR, .22Mag, and 9mm. I think I have a good mix for training, fun, and defense. I have enough magazines so that I can have the following number of rounds at the ready:

PMR-30: 150
Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22: 145
Tanfoglio (EAA) Witness P 9mm: 78
HiPoint 995TS 9mm: 75
Smith & Wesson M&P 22: 60
Marlin 783: 12
Winchester 9422M: 12
Heritage Rough Rider: 6

Of course all of this is academic since I had everything with me in the ice house last weekend when it dropped through the ice into the deepest part of the lake. I was lucky to escape with my life!

So are the guns OK? ;)

That's a pretty nice collection to leave at the bottom of a lake...
