Thanks guys. They're just my yard buddies, and insect control. We have a very nice place......There's something a bit magical about it.Which is understandable(did historic preservation work for way too long),because it's the site of one of the oldest "white man" house/cabin/settlement in the area.
You can't see it but, just over a hill or so is the original spring that was the water supply for the old cabin.Won't go into more detail 'cause it gets a bit hokey sounding. It's all good though.
It's like a bloomin game park or something?Have told the story before of wrenching on one of the kids cars and looking up to have a line of 5 wild Turkeys a cpl feet from me watching. The Deer have been known to follow us around when we're practicing with our traditional bows, stump shooting. And everytime the neighbor's(through the woods)cows get out....they always end up in our yard, which is sort of frequent. Then they hide whenever farmer comes looking for them. There's 6 or 7 of them and they'd be a nuisance if it weren't so dang funny. And no,we're not feeding them, they just like it over here.
Power went out yesterday,and other than a very slight concern about freezer....wifey and I didn't care.Have a great w/end.
