I haven't got the ability to post pix, but I do have the product you described. Mine is a thumb break that was used for a 342PD. IMHO, the thumb break is preferred, in case you find yourself needing to run without pitching the gun across the pavement. IIRC, the thumb break part # works for the hammer or hammerless model J's, but don't quote me? I got the "garter" as well but couldn't use it due to illness/injury, so no comment. I also never used the boot extender feature that's available. Your referring to the leather model that has the sheep skin lining on the inner surface, correct? Well made specialty application holster. Slow to deploy as the second coming, but sure beats NOT carrying!
