Picture please "J" frame "K" frame

I really need to see a comparison picture of the J frame and a K frame side by side. I have gone to every gun shop close by and cannot find a K frame for comparison. Specifically I am considering the Model 60 with 3" barrel or a Model 67 with the 4" barrel. My wife has shot the model 60 but for home defense I would really like to see the K frame model 67. Please anyone that has both or at least a J and a K post pictures. Her hands are small and she liked the J frame but recoil and trigger I think would be better with the K...........

I believe she will find the K frame to be much easier to shoot. Recoil will be less and the trigger will be better. MHO.

I have small hands and the J frame fits me well. The K frame is hard to fit my hand. If I get my finger on the trigger the back strap is not centered in my palm. If I center the backstrap then I can't get my finger square on the trigger.

Under stress I think the J frame would be easier for me to shoot. Even if the K frame holds one more round and has a longer barrel, if you can't hold it to shoot it it is of less value. Try them both.

Go with what fits you, & you can shoot easiest. I like J & K frames, they fit me best. I got rid of my N frames because they were just too big for my hands & I did not shoot them as well as the J & K frames.

Other than weight & frame size being a problem, there are a lot of grip options for all frame sizes. you can get service grips for each, boot grips & target stocks for each. you can make each frame size fit your hand. little grips on big guns, & big grips on little guns !!!

Just one man's opinion but I see little advantage in a J-frame .357. The recoil makes it very difficult to return to POA quickly and it is just a very unpleasant gun to shoot. I have a 3" Model 36 and .38 +P has plenty of stopping power. Again - in my opinion. And Crimson Trace grips will give your wife a lot of confidence. Well worth the extra two bills.
