Picture posting problems

Does anyone know why I can no longer post pictures from photobucket?
It keeps telling me my "remote image" is too large (or something to that effect)
It used to work just fine. Sometimes it will let me post a picture directly from my computer but it takes forever to load.
The Coltforum has almost identical layout to this one but picture posting is much easier.
It would be nice if this forum switched to that style. Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong that I should change and stop complaining

Just open Advanced Reply and instead of "insert image" icon, choose the paper clip "Attachments" and upload from your computer.

I love the upload from computer option Barb mentioned. It cuts out the photobucket middleman. The only reason I started a photobucket account was so I could post pics on this forum, now I don't need it anymore.

All I can seem to get to is the "manage attachments" section. There is an option to insert a photobucket link or to upload directly from the computer. My computer files apparently are too large so I would need to resize these. I did manage to resize my image via photobucket and was able to post a photo. It only posts as a thumbnail that you can run your mouse over to enlarge. I see other people just posting full size pictures directly in their threads. I used to do this before the forum changed, now I can't seem to figure that out anymore
