A friend / forum member found 19 third generation Smith & Wesson magazines at a closing pawnshop in West Virginia. He was kind enough to alert me to the situation. Bought all of them for an average $15 each (ignore the price tags). He kept four. I took the rest. 7 for the 3914, 7 for the 4513/4516/457 and 1 full size .45 magazine. It is one of those almost "too good to be true" situations. I like the old-school packaging. Just going to leave them this way for now.

You have a great friend there.

Agreed. Classy move on his part, letting me know. He's a Smith guy too. Maybe has slighly broader interests. We both make weekend rounds at local gun shops, pawn shops, etc., and alert one another to things that might be of interest. We both occasionally travel to WV. He just has better spots there.

I see 3 with tape on the packaging;you should bring those back.;)

About 8 years ago I found somethings similar in that they were wood stocks and not magazines.Yes I bought them all.

Leave them on the cards if you don't have a dire need to use them, they are worth about $20-$40 more each over one's that are out of the packaging. Love these threads, I'm always mag bin diving at gun shops.

Wow! I don't own a gun those would fit, but I can sure appreciate that kind of find.
