Pimped up Outdoorsman

I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a sweet original k frame Wesson grip adapter from one of our members here on the forum. I'm very grateful. Anyway I took the original service grips off because they are perfect and numbered to the gun and I installed the adapter and put some MOP's on and I just wanted to share. I think it looks great and I can't wait to take it out for a dance at the range.

That is one fine look! Now, you just need a carved holster and you'll be ready to come to our next BBQ. I'd love to own one of the original grip adapters, too!

I like the looks of your set up.

For me I shoot mine at camp in summer and need a little more grip because of sweaty hands.

Like you, I too think that a change in grips can really pimp up what is arguably one of S&W's finest creations - the K-22 Outdoorsman's Revolver. Here is one of mine pimped up with some of KB's finest:

This is my favorite modified. Altered hammer and trigger, and the only grips I have ever seen with brass bushings for the locator stud.

I'll get in on this with a first year K-22 sporting an unusual factory Marble front sight.

I too have been hunting for decent MOPs and a grip adapter for this gun, with no success.

It's not arguable !!!!! It is one of S&Ws finest. Top 3or5 even. These are all fine examples. Sooner or later I'll sell my early 41 and get an Outdoorsman
