Like everyone here I was running short of safe space for handguns. I ran across this US company that makes 4/6/8/12 slot padded racks. I converted one my metal file cabinet drawers (has a lock bar like DoD used to use for secret material files).
Now I can buy more SW for the collection. I do use gun socks over all my pistols as it gives you that extra bump protection. Sorry no revolvers in the photo was working on carry guns today. Has a hand hole on both ends so you can lift the whole rack. Installed small golden rod on the inside of the cabinet to keep moisture down.
Not trying to sell their product but thought other folks might be interested.
