Anyone have a clue as to what kind of shrub this is? Seed are about the size of peas:

Could it be Fragrant Sumac (Arenaria)?
 
...my wife and I think it may be a variety of scrub Oak...you'll know if those berries turn into acorns soon...

Hawthorn... I will wait to see if they turn red.
 
I vote with hawthorn above. If it has white flowers and any thorns on the woody parts that is a sure sign of a hawthorn.
