I received something from an organization I deal with that might put this in perspective. On occasion I use the services this organization provides. It does make a request for donations every year. As I believe I owe it something for the services I receive, I have sent in a small ($10) donation for the last few years. And the suprising message in thanks i received essentialliy said that if everyone who used its services just matched my contribution, its fundraising for the year would be over.

I guess what this organization was trying to say was that a little bit from a lot of people produces a lot.

Everyone, I understand that Money can be funny, for many right now. I also believe that $30.00 a year is pocket change, at best. We love having you here, but please donate to the forum. Donate or not I'm still happy to see ya-all here.

I wonder if it wouldn't be useful for management to set up a reminder system 30 days prior to renewal time or an automatic deduct from a credit card, etc. I have a feeling that I'm not the only one that has serious memory issues.

...Just my mind doing a little wandering between moments of confusion.

The forum has no direct ties to CC companies, hence the use of PayPal which has no annual renewal option. You could mark it on your calendar, or if you use a smart phone, put it on your phone's calendar with a note to remind you.
