A few days ago I asked about trijicon HD vs truglow tfo but only got a few replies. Lets try again. What is the best sight for LOW light such as an indoor range. Thanks

Between your two choices I prefer Trijicon. I currently am using a XS bigdot on a 3in. Sp101 for EDC.

I have meprolights on my kimber and really like the larger front dot

It's kind of a personal choice.

For me, I prefer the Tru-Glow TFO's. They work well in any lighting situation. I just wish they still offered the front sight only as I prefer all black rear sights.

I think TFOs are nice...also used Mepros with no complaints.

Night sights are really a YMMV purchase it seems.

For me, the standard Trijicon night sights are the only way to go. I do have a few pistols with Meprolights and they work font, I just prefer the daylight sight picture of the Trijicons, their white rings are very crisp and clean. The low light picture is second to none. Even XS uses Trijicon tritium vials.

Some really like Trijicon's new HD sights, I prefer the originals.

Trijicon HD

Have them on My M&P9C for the same reason low light at the range. It's like night and day at the range!!!!!

I have the Meprolight (Siglite) on my sigs, I put the Truglo TFO's on my m&p 40c and couldn't be happier, much easier to pick up the sights in bright light. May not be as bright as the Trijicon's but I like them, easily seen at night.

All my M&P's have Tru Glo TFO sights on them the 9 the 40 compact, the 40 full size and both of my 45's I have not put any on the shield yet but may do so cause they will stick out just a little and might require some trimming to work and look good!

I went with the Tru-Glow TFO for my M&P FS. I went with the yellow rear green front so it would be so glaring.

I think in low light it is best to have a u-shaped rear and large dot front. I have Ameriglo's but Trijicon HD's are also a great choice. Quickly lining up three dots in low light is very difficult. Personally I have the orange dot front but the green is excellent also.

Meprolights for me, you get the best of both in good light and low to no light with them. They do not stand out to bright in good light like the TruGlows. But the TruGlows are not bad, I just find them a little distracting, and large for a CC pistol.

Cant comment for the trijicon HD but the tfo's I had bad luck with went through 2 front sights. Both cracked after very little shooting, the first I figure maybe installed wrong so I sent it to truglo to have them replace it since it was under warrenty. When I got it back I ran the gun for a few months before the front was cracked and ready to fall out again. Reading all the trouble others have had with them it was time to throw in the towel for me couldnt depend on them any more. Another good option would be 10-8 performance I just put there back sight and front fiber optic on my gun and love them. They make a front night sights that my be another alternative you could check into.

I've owned Trijicon, Meprolight, and Tru-Glo TFOs. Of the these I much prefer the TFOs. They are awesome sights.
