Please help date 19-4

I bought a 2 1/2" 19-4 five years ago without original box and interested when it was manufactured. Thanks for any help. SN: 84K8235

Your revolver was shipped in 1980, per the SCSW, 4th ed., p. 489. Smith & Wesson did not record the date of manufacture, only the date the revolver left the factory.
